ZOOM Pharmacy. A life changing monthly medicines service
Get your prescription sent to ZOOM Pharmacy by your medical centre or via patient portal.
Once ZOOM receives your prescription, we are here to answer any questions you may have, and confirm your order with you.
ZOOM packs up your medicines, and organises delivery to your door by a NZ Post courier in 1-3 working days, to anywhere in New Zealand.
If you are on four or more regular pills/tablets every day, and qualify for our life-changing monthly medicines service – get FREE prescriptions with FREE daily sachet packing and FREE delivery to your door.*
All other patients on fully funded medicines get FREE prescriptions. Delivery fee ($6.50) may apply.
For other orders, prescription charges may still apply (prescriptions from specialists, and non-funded medicines). Delivery fee ($6.50) may apply.*

Please note that for a few selected medicines only, we are unable to ship the full 3 month supply in one order/shipment. This is usually due to the type of medicine it is, and Pharmac rules around only dispensing one month at a time of that particular medicine. For those customers not eligible for our free Monthly Medicines Service, please be aware that this could mean you may incur a monthly shipping fee.
*Ts & Cs apply.
We deliver anywhere in New Zealand – including rural.

Please note: if your medical centre refuses or delays sending your prescription to ZOOM, or directs it to their preferred pharmacy instead, remind them – it’s my decision what pharmacy I use – not yours. The Ministry of Health says ‘the right of patients to choose their pharmacy is a fundamental right enshrined in The Code.’ Your medical centre is duty bound by the Code of Ethics for the New Zealand Medical Profession, the Medical Council of New Zealand and Good Prescribing Practice.
If you’re using a patient portal like ManageMyHealth, Health365 or ConnectMed, select/enter ‘ZOOM Pharmacy’ when it asks for your chemist name. Find out more in our FAQ ‘Can I use my patient portal to get my prescriptions sent to ZOOM?‘
If you have the original prescription, we will need the original hard copy sent to us (SEE BELOW)
If you have a physical prescription it is recommended to COURIER it to us, using a track and trace service. The original is needed by the pharmacy before we can dispense and ship.

This process may cause delays in getting your meds to you by a few days, so may not be appropriate if you need your medicines urgently

No.
In your tracking link, you may wish to direct where you would like the NZ Post courier to leave your parcel. Just click on ‘parcel leave’ then click on ‘add instructions’. Then select the option best for you, for example ‘leave at front door’. You can even click the ‘other’ option and write in specific instructions like ‘go down the path to the left of the garage door and leave by the red door’ for example.
Note that, for health and safety reasons, controlled medicines and fridge medicines cannot be left, nor can selected expensive unfunded medicines. So for these special deliveries only, a NZ Post courier will knock on the door, and ask the person they hand the delivery to for their name, to record proof of delivery.
If you wish to see how your delivery is progressing, click on your order tracking link sent to you by text and/or email, to find out where your delivery is at. Check delivery progress in your tracking link or at NZ Post
Yes – NZ Post can deliver to apartments – if they have a drop point, in an open/accessible foyer.
However, note that NZ Post couriers do not/will not call individual customers on delivery, or wait for them to come down, or deliver to a person on the top floor. Be mindful of the size your delivery will be, a small bag may well fit into your apartment mailbox in the foyer, however a small box will not.
In apartments without an open or accessible foyer, you may need to speak to your building manager/body corporate and see if they can offer any solutions for courier drivers to your location.
Or, you could change your delivery address to a close friend, family member, or even a friendly shop near you OR use NZ Post ‘Parcel Collect’ instead, find out more here.
ZOOM recommend you choose a delivery address where someone is there to receive your delivery. Medicines arrive in discreet packaging with no pharmacy identifier, so no-one will know what’s inside your parcel, or that it came from ZOOM.
Once you have confirmed your order and paid any fees that may apply, your order is usually packed then picked up from our Auckland based pharmacy, either later that day, or the following morning, by NZ Post Courier.

You will be sent a tracking link (by email or text) so that you can track your order’s delivery progress. You can check your order’s delivery progress in your tracking link or at NZ Post
From that point, we suggest to then allow 1-3 days working days for delivery, depending on where you live in New Zealand (eg Auckland, versus South Island rural). Please remember – like any courier service, NZ Post courier delivery times can vary from time to time.
A sachet pack order will take longer as it needs to be made up, however ZOOM sends it out to you well before you are due to start it.
If you need an order urgently, please let our team know.

Sachet packs sort all your medicines into easy to take doses.
Each individual sachet is clearly labelled with your name, the medicines inside, the date, day of the week, and time to take it. Your sachet packs come in a long roll, loaded into a dispenser box. Sachets come out in the order that you need to take them.
Four weeks – that is 28 days. And ZOOM will automatically begin to organise your next roll to send to you, well before the roll you are taking runs out.
The eco-friendly pouches are biodegradable and can be composted. If you want to get rid of the printed information on your empty sachet before you throw it out, simply place the empty sachet in the sink, and pour hot water over it – the printing then simply rubs off.
If your doctor changes the medicines you are on, when you are in the middle of a roll, let ZOOM know.
Yes, just give us a call to find out more.
