Due to global supply pressures on GLP-1 agonists the suppliers of both Trulicity and Victoza have advised Pharmac that supply constraints will continue through 2024.

Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk, the suppliers of Trulicty and Victoza respectively have advised Pharmac they can only secure enough stock for people currently taking these medicines.

Shortages will be variable between pharmacies across the country. Therefore, Pharmac recommends patients struggling to source these treatments to contact them directly.
