Jardiance is used to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It may be used when diet plus exercise do not provide adequate blood sugar level control. If you have type 2 diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular disease, Jardiance can be used to reduce your risk of dying from your cardiovascular disease.

Active Ingredients: Each Jardiance tablet contains empagliflozin 10mg.

Warnings: Do not take Jardiance if you have an allergy to: any medicine containing empagliflozin (the active ingredient in Jardiance) or any of the other ingredients.

• Do not take Jardiance if you have severe problems with your kidneys.
• Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant.
• Do not breastfeed if you are taking this medicine.
• Do not give this medicine to a child under the age of 18 years.
• Do not take this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.
