The holiday 2025 summer holidays are almost here, and we’re all excited for some relaxation and sunny weather.  It’s important to remember during this busy time Medical Centres and couriers will be operating at reduced hours/days.

 

If you will need a new prescription from 20th December 2025 to 13th January 2026, we recommend you organise it before Friday 12th December to avoid holiday delays.

Tips to avoid delays over the holidays

Here are some tips and recommendations from our pharmacy team that can help you avoid delays, and ensure you have your medicines over the holiday period.

 

  • Requesting your own prescription ahead of time is recommended.
  • Book your appointment now to avoid Medical Centre wait times.
  • Allow 24-48 hours for your medical centre to process your next new prescription request.
  • Tell us if you are travelling. So we can send your order to a new address, or ahead of time.
  • Help your family members organise their prescriptions too, for a stress-free holiday.
