MELOLIN is a low-adherent, absorbent dressing that absorbs excess fluid from moderately exuding wounds. It consists of three layers: a low‑adherent perforated film, a highly absorbent cotton/polyester pad and a hydrophobic backing layer. This structure allows for drainage of exudate, reducing trauma to healing tissue.1 It is easily conformable and
retains its integrity when cut.
